DR MARTINA HAMBLY – Chiropractor, N.E.T. Practitioner.

martina_hambly_600x800All about Martina Hambly

With over 15 years experience, Martina is a highly skilled and passionate chiropractor. After completing a Masters of Chiropractic in 2000 at Macquarie University, she has continued to study new chiropractic techniques, many of which involve low-force adjustments that are very gentle. She combines these new techniques with traditional Chiropractic techniques to suit the client’s individual needs and requirements. Her philosophy to health revolves around the belief that our bodies have an innate ability to heal, and that sometimes it just needs a little assistance to restore balance. Martina is passionate about helping people improve and transform their health by restoring that natural balance.

What techniques does Martina use?

Martina utilises a wide variety and combination of techniques that cater to individual needs, and ensures the treatment is both effective and comfortable for the client. Her treatment approach involves directly treating the presenting symptoms and imbalances, as well as addressing the underlying cause to ensure long lasting changes for the client. Her techniques can address imbalances of the skeletal, muscular, organ and nervous system, for a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of health.

Some of the techniques she uses are:

  • Adjustments
  • Activator
  • Applied Kinesiology
  • Intraoral Cranials
  • Vector Point Cranials
  • Neuro Emotional Technique (NET)
  • Neurolink
  • Soft tissue releases
  • Stretching

Conditions that Chiropractic commonly helps with.

Equipped with a wide knowledge base, Martina is able to help a wide variety of clients, from children to the elderly, from officer workers to athletes, and pregnant women.
Conditions that Martina commonly helps with include:

  • Back, neck & shoulder pain
  • Headaches & migraines
  • Knee & ankle pain
  • Nerve pain (eg. Sciatica)
  • Muscle weakness
  • Low energy & poor sleep
  • And much, much more…

How many visits will I need?

As a general guide, clients will often book 1 – 2 weekly sessions with Martina for the first few weeks, and should noticeably feel improvements and reduction in symptoms during this initial period. As the client’s function and pain improve, the frequency of visits typically decrease, and clients may choose to book in bi-monthly or monthly maintenance sessions as required. Depending on the nature and severity of the client’s condition, Martina will work with the client to device a treatment plan to suit their needs, always taking into account the client’s finances, schedules, and lifestyle factors – and it is ultimately up to the client how often they wish to book in.

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a gentle and safe complementary health care system that is effective in helping reduce muscle and joint aches and pains. The role of a Chiropractor is to balance and realign the physical/structural components of our bodies (ie the muscles and the bones/joints). If these are balanced and positioned as they should be then our body is functioning most efficiently and ergonomically. More…
